Who qualifies?
US residents aged 18 or older who were laid off within the last 12 months. All industries are welcome.
What is included?
Seven nights, utilities, and Wi-Fi at Comanche, Durrës, or Yunnan. In Yunnan, three meals a day are also included.
What is not included?
You cover your travel, passport or visa costs, insurance, and food, except for the included meals in Yunnan. Sarasota and Boston are not free-week homes.
How are guests chosen?
We review applications weekly, considering eligibility, your reason for applying, date and home availability, and fit with the home. This is not a random drawing. No purchase is required, and applying does not guarantee a stay.
What about safety?
Before you accept, we will discuss the home, host contact, house rules, and any accessibility needs. Please ask questions before booking travel. Pets are allowed at Comanche only.
Will my video be made public?
Application videos are private. Selected guests make a 60-second diary, but we will only share it with their separate written permission.
